ALRAQABA . ISSUE 18 27 The State Audit Bureau (SAB) participated in the 14thmeeting of the ARABOSAI Strategic Planning Committee as the Vice-Chair during the period from 13-15 February 2022, with the participation of (8) SAIs and the General Secretariat. SAB was represented by the Director of the Strategic Planning Department, Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Thunayan, the Head of the Strategic Planning Section, Ms. Haifa Al-Baijani, and a Principal Strategic Planner, Ms. Maryam AlMusaibeeh. TheChair of theStrategicPlanningCommittee, the Federal Board of Supreme Audit of the Republic of Iraq, reviewed the most important items on the agenda. It included the recommendations contained in the report of the Strategic Plan Implementation Follow-up Committee at its 15th meeting held in June 2021, as well as considering the implementation results of the organization’s bodies’ plans for the year 2021. The meeting also dealt with a study of the operational plans for the year 2022 prepared by the organization’s bodies and stipulated the need to consider the results of the work performed by the team assigned to prepare the organization’s strategic plan for the years 2023-2028. The committee’s recommendations were to develop indicators that reflect the achieved result, emphasize distributing project programs throughout the year, and ensure providing the committee with semi-annual reports by the organization’s bodies that reflect the results of implementing the operational plan and most important obstacles. The recommendations also included the necessity of submitting the committee’s remarks on the achievements of the organization’s bodies and its operational plans to the heads of the concerned bodies, in addition to the commitment to the timetable by the parties concerned with the completion of the organization’s next plan. “The State Audit Bureau” participates in the 14th meeting of the ARABOSAI Strategic Planning Committee Orginaztions and Audit Institutions
