The second day of the meeting included the activities of the 15th ASOSAI General Assembly, the most prominent of which was the announcement of the SAB award for best article. The award was given to the article prepared by the Indonesian SAI on “Auditing the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals” and the Korean SAI on “Disaster and Crisis Management”. In addition, members of the Governing Board and the Audit Committee for 2021-2024 were elected. The new formation included the membership of the General Court of Audit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance Arab presence in all audit forums, approving the establishment of the ASOSAI Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals and the ASOSAI Working Group on Crisis Management Audits. The second day also witnessed a review of a report on the ASOSAI grant to the SAIs affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. On the sidelines of the meeting, SAB participated in the ASOSAI 8th symposium on “The ASOSAI and the Next Normal: Resilience amidst Challenges.” SAB presented a working paper on “Methods Applied by SAB to Adapt to the Pandemic and Ways to be Prepared for the Post-pandemic Phase.” The paper includes a review of the most prominent works carried out within the emergency plan for pre-audit and technical support to study topics related to the repercussions of Covid-19. SAB participants in the symposium were the Director of the Social and Services Affairs Audit Department, Ms. Fatima Al-Busairi, Principal Auditor in the Social Affairs Pre-Audit Department, Ms. Fatima Darwish, Auditor in the Social and Services Affairs Audit Department, Mr. Abdullah Al-Subaie, and Assistant Auditor in the Social Affairs Pre-Audit Department, Mr. Fahad Al-Zayed.
