• A committee was established by SAB to
monitor and follow up the implementation
of COVID-19-related procedures and
health precautions. This step was taken in
implementation of Circular (16/2020) that was
issued by the Civil Service Commission on
June 29, 2020, under which the government
entities are obliged to form a monitoring and
follow-up committee for the implementation of
regulations and health precautions set forth
by the local health authorities. Accordingly,
SAB has defined the mandates of the newly
established committee under the SAB
Decision (166/2020), dated July 9, 2020.
• Upon forming the monitoring and follow-up
committee, regular meetings were coordinated
and arranged to make use of competencies
and mandates assigned to the committee.
Those meetings were held using remote
conferencing technology via Zoom, and
resulted in the following:
1. Setting out a mechanism and a 6-month-
work plan for the committee, which shall be
updated according to the developments
announced by the Council of Ministers and the
government health authorities and in line with
the circulars of the Civil Service Commission.

of confirmed cases of COVID-19 within
SAB along with those employees of a close
contacts in order to follow up on their PCR test

and Maintenance Department to prohibit the
infected from entering SAB building. In such
cases, the workplace shall then be evacuated
and properly sterilized.
5. Mandating the Administrative Affairs
Department to prepare a report at the
beginning of each phase of the Council of
Ministers’ “Return to Work” plan, indicating
how far are the sectors of SAB committed to
the defined ratio of employees attending the
workplace. This report shall then be submitted
to the President of SAB for approval.

and Information Center Department to prepare
awareness videos and e-mail newsletters to
introduce SAB employees to the necessary
guidelines and health requirements, which
shall also be published on the Portal as well
as the official social media accounts of SAB.
• In an implementation of its circulars issued
on employees’ compliance with the defined
procedures and health requirements to reduce
the spread of COVID-19, SAB has taken into
effect the following workplace precautions:
1. Temperature checks are performed for all
employees and visitors upon entry to the SAB
