in carrying out their mandates, which reflects
the major role of SAB in performing effective and

Additionally, to enhance SAB’s role in fighting
corruption, it has signed a memorandum of
understanding with the Kuwait Anti-Corruption
Authority (Nazaha) on joint aspects of cooperation.

audited by SAB. The report included the following

• An analysis of the State’s financial situation for
the fiscal year 2019/2020.
• The lawsuits against different state entities

secondment and sorting military personnel to

Public Funds:
• Protecting the public fund is a collective
responsibility and a national duty. The citizen
reserves the right to file a report or a complaint
to SAB whenever the terms are met to protect
the public funds.

electricity bills, traffic violations, fines, rents,
or other receivables for utilizing the state’s
properties.)

SAB has been keen to promote environmental
awareness. It has published specialized reports,
which are displayed in the Citizen’s Reports of
the years 2018, 2019, and 2020. An assessment
report on the effectiveness and efficiency of air in
Kuwait was showcased in 2020.

Conclusion
